There are 20 coves and beaches packed within 9.1 square miles, as well as deluxe resorts, intimate inns, bed and breakfast hideaways, seaside cottages and much more. The tree-lined streets of the downtown village area are lined with quaint shops, sidewalk cafes, chatty pubs and espresso bars.
Laguna Beach is widely known as an artist colony boasting over 100 galleries. Laguna Canyon is breathtaking and hosts the renowned Festival of Arts, Pageant of the Masters, Sawdust Art Festival and Laguna Art-A-Fair which take place each summer. In addition, the City is also home to the Laguna Art Museum and The Laguna Playhouse, where an unknown Harrison Ford appeared on stage in 1965.
A visit to Southern California isn't truly complete without a few days spent enjoying the many facets of Laguna Beach - whether you choose to spend your time lounging atop a beach blanket or strolling the sidewalks of Pacific Coast Highway. You can choose to do it all...or do nothing at all!
